在中國(guó)，有這樣一群人，他們把青春和生命奉獻(xiàn)給了祖國(guó)。洪水來(lái)了，他們抵擋，災(zāi)難來(lái)了，他們向前，哪里有危險(xiǎn)，哪里就有他們的身影。他們把保衛(wèi)祖國(guó)，守護(hù)人民作為一生的事業(yè)。南昌起義第一槍響起，有無(wú)數(shù)英雄流血犧牲，換來(lái)今日的璀璨與光輝。請(qǐng)記住這些人，沒(méi)有他們就沒(méi)有現(xiàn)在強(qiáng)大的中國(guó)，沒(méi)有他們就沒(méi)有如此安全的社會(huì)。

《八一建軍節(jié)在這里誕生》
蜚聲中外的紅色故都瑞金，不僅是人民共和國(guó)的搖籃，也是人民軍隊(duì)建軍史上一座光芒四射的豐碑。在這座豐碑上，鐫刻著早期人民軍隊(duì)浴血奮戰(zhàn)、起死回生的英雄業(yè)績(jī)；記錄著紅軍從小到大、從弱到強(qiáng)、前仆后繼、百煉成鋼的成長(zhǎng)歷程；描繪著一個(gè)個(gè)叱咤風(fēng)云、威震敵膽的紅軍將帥的音容笑貌。人民軍隊(duì)自己的節(jié)日——八一建軍節(jié)，也在這座豐碑上留下了最初的一頁(yè)。

Staying true to our founding mission is, in essence, a matter of whom we serve and whose support sustains us. Our Party was founded for the people and has always been of one heart with the people. Bound to the people by an inseverable tie, the Party will always be in the service of the people to fulfill its mission.
不忘初心、牢記使命，說(shuō)到底是為什么人、靠什么人的問(wèn)題。以百姓心為心，與人民同呼吸、共命運(yùn)、心連心，是黨的初心，也是黨的恒心。

Either for a person or for a party what must be treasured most is the adherence to one’s original aspirations and good qualities in the face of any hardships encountered. For our Party, its original aspiration and founding mission epitomize its nature, purpose, ideals, convictions and goals, and motivate us to stand fast and march forward. From the Shikumen building where our Party was established, to the Tian'anmen Rostrum where the founding of our country was declared, and on to the path of the new era, all of our Party's efforts, struggles and sacrifices have been dedicated to the people's wellbeing and national rejuvenation. Our original aspiration and founding mission have enabled the Party to grow and prosper in extreme difficulties, break through tight encirclements, and rise in adversity. Without them, our Party would change its nature, lose public support, and risk its future.
一個(gè)人也好，一個(gè)政黨也好，最難得的就是歷經(jīng)滄桑而初心不改、飽經(jīng)風(fēng)霜而本色依舊。黨的初心和使命是黨的性質(zhì)宗旨、理想信念、奮斗目標(biāo)的集中體現(xiàn)，激勵(lì)著我們黨永遠(yuǎn)堅(jiān)守，砥礪著我們黨堅(jiān)毅前行。從石庫(kù)門(mén)到天安門(mén)，從興業(yè)路到復(fù)興路，我們黨近百年來(lái)所付出的一切努力、進(jìn)行的一切斗爭(zhēng)、作出的一切犧牲，都是為了人民幸福和民族復(fù)興。正是由于始終堅(jiān)守這個(gè)初心和使命，我們黨才能在極端困境中發(fā)展壯大，才能在瀕臨絕境中突出重圍，才能在困頓逆境中毅然奮起。忘記初心和使命，我們黨就會(huì)改變性質(zhì)、改變顏色，就會(huì)失去人民、失去未來(lái)。
